This app will help ease the strain of life in Cities for disabled people. Everyone knows finding parking spaces can be a difficult task, imagine the task of finding an available disabled parking space in a city centre in which there are very limited numbers of. This is an everyday problem that people with disabilities face every day. Similarly, the problem of hailing a disabled taxi, with a limited number of them on the street it is almost impossible to get one without a phone call or order. My app proposes a solution to this problem. Toilets in businesses such as Bars and restaurants are a necessity, however they are not suited to people with disabilities. The number of disabled toilets is growing however the uncertainty of the business you are going to having one is a dilemma with disabled people, therefore my app can solve this.
My mobile application has a map that shows the location of every disabled parking space in a locality. Users can input their location and the app will show the nearest disabled parking spots which are available. It will have a simplistic User Interface to provide optimum speed and efficiency for the user.
An option for disabled toilets will also be available. Showing the business name and address for user to ensure they are going to an establishment with a disabled toilet.
There will be a button option to call a taxi service that have disabled taxis in their fleet, to take the hassle out of hailing a disabled taxi on the street.
This app will simplify the life of people living with disabilities and their families. Travelling in a city should be a fun activity or part of your everyday life, not a hassle like it is for so many disabled people today.
