Barometer app is vintage aneroid barometer that measures atmospheric pressure.
It features direct reading in mBar, mmHg or psi and includes a barometric altimeter.
It also has automatic range change, relative pressure, altitude measurement and vertical speed & acceleration calculation.
NOTE: This app requires device with a pressure sensor. It uses pressure sensor data to give accurate and instant atmospheric pressure reading. This reading is also used to estimate altitude without using GPS. Note that the altitude measurement can be inaccurate, especially with an uncalibrated sensor or when the weather is changing. If pressure sensor is not present this app will load measured atmospheric pressure by your local meteorological station using your location and a weather web service.
Outdoor atmospheric pressure information is provided by the Meteorologisk institutt of Norway NRK weather web service accessible at YR.NO.
Optional altitude information is provided by Open-Elevation web service accessible at open-elevation.com
