Contrib’ city project

Contrib' City offers the inhabitants a way to share their ideas and experience about their daily life and thus to improve their territories. Contrib' City wants to be a participative tool of local policy. The tourists are also invited to speak about the local sites they visited.
Read/speak about your village’s or city’s attractions

Do you live in a rural area which must cope with an exodus towards the cities? Or in a district located in urban periphery, with the assets and the challenges related to town outskirts? Or even in the (very) densely populated center of a regional or (inter)national metropolis? In any case, your opinion is interesting! Your account of local concrete actions, may they be commercial, social or artistic, are welcome!
Your scientific analyses and solutions related to local development, all disciplines included, are also awaited!

Speak about your village’s or city’s economic & social & activities

Any territory needs (socio)economic activities to live and make its inhabitants living. Stories or ideas about local initiatives to create or attract companies or social-business or non-for-profit organisations, may they be new or already big, are also welcome! Your account of concrete local actions, may they be commercial, social or artistic, are welcome as long as they are dedicated to local development. The presence of carefully chosen equipment (railway stations, interurban bus networks, high speed Internet) gives the possibility to local authorities to accommodate a resident or touristic population. Adapted infrastructure can promote economic, social and cultural development.

Speak about your local education and training facilities

To meet the human and professional skills that are needed for local and sustainable development, the inhabitants need to be educated and trained accordingly. Show the positive and lacking points. Your achievements or ideas about improving your local schools, universities or training centers (for apprentices, for adults) are expected!

Protect & improve your homeplace

Contrib‘ City also welcomes the accounts of concrete actions or ideas about how to (even) better manage local resources, in order to improve living environment while limiting the wastes and thus the taxes. Your contribution to a debate can help solutions to emerge in order to improve your homeplace, whatever it is. Your participation enriches the inhabitants’ local experience and their knowledge of the qualities and the needed points of the area they live in. The homeplace improvement can be done by cultural/scientific means (museums, exhibitions, conferences) or sports projects (nautical stages, multi-sports parks, ski slopes).

Contrib’City also aims at lowering “natural” or social risks at local scale. To do so, the site offers, in an interactive way, solution proposals based on good sense (logic) and daily reality.
