The APICS® CPIM certification has five modules that professionals must successfully pass before becoming certified. The third module is called Detailed Scheduling and Planning or DSP®. The CPIM DSP® exam covers the tools and techniques used in managing inventory. You’ll be expected to understand planning material and capacity requirements, supplier planning, procurement planning, and inventory management. The exam consists of 75 questions and the minimum passing score for this third module of the CPIM is 300 (scale of 265 to 330).
