Echo Beginning is primarily designed for pre-school age or older students who need exercise in identifying letter-to-voice connections. The background of the echo is the findings and research results of the Child Language Development Study in the University of Jyväskylä.
Echo is developed to help specifically those children who read learning are challenging and need extra training. However, the games are also suitable for older players who have puzzles in reading. Echo can be introduced at home, at school, preschool or speech therapist, for example.
With the game, training can be particularly helpful if there are difficulties in reading the child's family or there have been difficulties in the development of the child's language. By playing a game, a child gets an effective extra tutorial that can help ease the development of reading skills among other students.
