We’re introducing Active Speaker Mode to bring more attention to your friends who are speaking during your party. The speaker will be in a large focused cell, while all others will be in smaller cells on the side of your screen. To use this feature, tap on your camera button, click “Enable Active Speaker” and you’re good to go!
We’ve also fixed some additional bugs to make your in-app experience even better. Party on!

You can now take your Houseparty to the next level by casting your party into Fortnite! Connect your Houseparty account to your Epic Games account to get started.
How to cast your party:
1. Open the app on your device and connect to Fortnite through Settings or the TV icon
2. Join your friends like you normally would or invite them to join you
3. Open Fortnite on PC, PlayStation 5, or PlayStation 4
4. Continue talking to your friends while you play!

So, you know when you fix something that’s been broken and you're all proud of yourself? But then, you accidentally knock something over and break it and it's just like, life, man. With this version, we fixed some things and we didn’t even break anything else (yet).
Feeling extra fancy? Show off to your friends and pull down on a Houseparty notification and prepare to be amazed. Well, as amazed as you can be by surprise things hidden in a notification. Now you can do all the things: sneak into the house, reply to a note, turn off a friend's notis or even put all your Houseparty notis on pause for a hot sec because we know how popular you are.
Picture this: you and your mains are in a locked room because duh. You really need one friend to join, but there are some peeps in the house that aren't invited. rude.Introducing: invite to a locked room!Send the key to that one special someone and (private) party away.
