In recent years, the word sustainability has been on everyone's lips. An important aspect of this sustainability is our ecological footprint and the way we eat. The "Klimateller" app makes it possible to set an emission target and to measure how well this is met by constantly recording the dishes consumed. The app shows how much CO2 is emitted. All entered dishes are compared and evaluated with an optimal plate.
In addition, the app offers information and tips on the subject of food and sustainable nutrition, as well as numerous climate-friendly recipes.
"Klimateller" was developed as an interdisciplinary project work (IDPA) in the field of computer science by Léon Lopetrone, Nils Rothenbühler and Elia Schenker at the Kantonsschule Hottingen in Zurich.
