Recognizing the urgent need to further strengthen the enforcement of EO 51 (the Philippine Milk Code 1986) and RA 10028 (Expanded Breastfeeding Promotion Act 0f 2009 ) and to ensure the well-being of children, World Vision Development Foundation, Inc. (WVDF) in partnership with Department of Health (DOH) is implementing the Crowd-based Monitoring of Milk Code Compliance project.
The project aims to develop three reporting channels to monitor the implementation of EO 51 rIRR and RA 10028 and to report violations to these laws. One of which is the Mother-Baby Friendly Philippines (MBFPH) mobile application that can be downloaded in Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
