New revision schedule monitor for staff. This will allow you to look at the progress students are making with their individual revision plans. This new feature can be found under "Class analysis".

What do you do when you get an answer wrong? Watch a video? View the PowerPoint? How about learn from the method of a teacher? Well... now you can! Starting with version 5.04, you will be able view the "What would I do to answer this question?" section anytime you get an answer wrong.
A few little improvements to get the app ready for September 2019. The changes in this update mainly relate to the way that staff will interact with your account information making your data more secure.
Includes a few lines of code so that I can push out tests based on predicted topics (focus on year 11) at login.
In this update you will find predicted topics for each exam board (Edexcel, AQA and OCR) and tier. After paper 2 has been sat, paper 3 topic areas will not require another update as they will change at login once the tests have been generated.
Resolved issues relating to the scoreboard not showing correctly in some schools:
- staff now get the correct background shown for students potentially completing the same question again and again to earn engagement points. The highlighting of students on the scoreboard should be used to investigate what they have been up to rather than ruling them out of any prizes if you have a reward system in place.
- students now see their position within the scoreboard more clearly.
PowerPoint files have now been added to certain PLCs to try ensure that every PLC has at least a video or a PowerPoint to support the learning
I have also added the following questions:

I can use the product rule
I can evaluate the coordinates needed to plot a frequency polygon

Thank you ever so much for the feedback. To accompany the last release, the homework section has now been divided up into current and past homework tasks for students. This will make the homework section much clearer in light of the way the homework results section has been laid out.
A few things have been ironed out, including loci question now displaying correctly and a bug that prevented you from seeing the questions you have selected in design a test following the completion of challenge/homework/gap analysis questions.
Edit a profile also sorted.
Slowly moving away from csv files to xls files. It begins with bulk adding or editing students.
Finally sussed the scroll pane for mobile/tablet!! You can now use your finger to scroll through the menus without it triggering the button. The button will now only be triggered once the button has a definite press.
Staff - you now have the capability of setting a homework task to an entire year group.
Staff - the problem solving tasks have now been renamed on the homework screen so they can now be read correctly.

Nothing really to shout about. A couple of changes to the way a few questions were being marked, e.g. factorising a quadratic where a is not 1.
The app will behind the scenes start to track the number of times PowerPoint and Video material is opened. This will be added to the 'Usage data' area for staff to view before the summer break.

Added in a fast forward and rewind button within the video tool for devices where the scroller does not appear.
Addressed an issue with the homework preview tool for staff.
I have sorted out a few questions so they behave properly.
Reduced file size.
Improved initial loading speed for older devices.
Students will now only be able to score a maximum of 3 points on the scoreboard for a question that is repeatedly attempted (prevents users from doing the same question again and again, scoring a huge number of points).
Various other little changes including tangents drawn in on the higher "Instantaneous rate of change" question to help mobile/tablet users.
Anyone running a version of the app less than version 4 please update. You will soon be prompted to do so at login.
Question fixes.Scoreboard now displays both the current score (if a school has chosen to reset the engagement points to keep the competition alive amongst students) and the total score since the beginning of time.Addresses a crash issue.
Paper QLA tool has been given a little boost!!Staff - you are now able to upload whole class sets of Paper QLA data. Go to "Paper QLA" then "Bulk upload to a template".Staff & students - you can now generate personalised revision worksheets based on the biggest areas of concern from your written papers. Go to "Paper QLA", select the appropriate options and then select the "Worksheet" option.A few bugs have been squished. Thank you for the positive feedback.
Fix for particular questions.Homework tool glitch with year groups not displaying for PiXL Main schools has now been fixed.Back by popular demand, students can now access their feed forward activities from written papers. Renamed but still links with "Take a test". The activities completed by students are only trackable by the staff account if they are set as a homework using the "Set HWork" button from the "Paper QLA" templates (or trackable via the "Class analysis" tool).

The PiXL Maths App (PMA) is a skills based assessment program. The app successfully highlights your strengths and your areas to develop. This is a very useful and accurate tool to use prior to any test to help rank which revision topics are of the most importance.
The app is setup in such a way to guide you through a wide range of Mathematical topics. The PMA assesses generic skill based Mathematical knowledge; it therefore suitably matches the AQA, Edexcel or OCR schemes of learning.
INSTRUCTIONS:
After installation, you are presented with a login screen. You will need to create your own account following the on screen instructions. Keep your login details safe as all future results will be stored under your account. This incredibly powerful tool then helps you to start identifying areas you need to revise. By answering each of the online questions, the app highlights the objectives you have successfully completed and which ones you will need to work on. After some targeted revision, you can then return back to the app to see if you have improved. With each access, the questions are refreshed so you can assess yourself with a similar problem but with different numbers.
To aid with closing the gap, therapy videos and PowerPoints can be found within each question to help target specific skills.
Take a challenge - select your target grade and you will be given a bespoke program of questions to help you achieve it.
Gap analysis/ Paper QLA - choose from the bank of written paper analysis sheets to focus on moving your learning forward.
