Sherali Jorayev was born in Asaka in 1947. It is not known what day he was born. The singer symbolically chose April 12 as his birthday. On April 12, Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin flew into space. On April 23, 2004, on the occasion of the 78th birthday of the British Queen Elizabeth II, British Ambassador Craig Murray invited over a thousand guests to the embassy. An orchestra conducted by Sherali Jorayev, Sevara Nazarkhan and Vladimir Neimer was invited to the event in Tashkent. At that time, the British Embassy in Uzbekistan organized a tour of the Scottish group Battlefield in Uzbekistan. Jorayev also sang with this group.
