App updates
In the updated SmogAlarm, you will now see the European air quality index as well as the measured values at European stations. You can also view the data in a clear widget, where the data of the nearest station is displayed. It is possible to set a notification for deteriorating air quality - you set the values you want to be notified of. This project was supported by a grant from Norwegian funds. The development of notification based on location was supported from the budget of the statutory city of Ostrava.

The SmogAlarm application is provided by Clean Sky, www.cistenebe.cz. It shows the air quality data obtained from the measuring stations registered by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute. Stations are displayed in a list that can be sorted by pollution, distance or alphabet. At the selected station, hourly concentrations of PM10, ozone, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, total air quality index and the evolution of these quantities are displayed in the last 12 hours. There is a map of stations. The app also includes widgets (1x1) on the desktop that display the air quality of selected stations. The user can select their favorite stations. If he exceeds the limits of these stations, he will be notified.
