Muslim narrated from Abu Hurairah ra that the Messenger of Allah said that he meant: Do not make your homes cemetery indeed the devil will run away from the house read to him surah al-Baqarah.
Description of Hadith:
Home is part of the perfect perfection of the gift of Allah SWT to mankind. The home becomes a place of residence, a place of rest and many other benefits that can be obtained from it. That is what Ibn Katsir said when deciphering the letter An Nahl verse 80 And God made for you your houses as a residence. Hence those who have the ability to have their own home, no matter how big or small, need to be grateful.
Islam teaches us specific procedures in building houses or occupying a new home, which reads al-Baqarah's letter from the first verse until the last verse. Rasulullah SAW once said that: Read the letter of al-Baqarah in your house, because the devil will never enter a house in which it is read al-Baqarah's letter Surah al-Baqarah narrates the origin of the human event, as well as the origin of the wrath of Allah to the devil . This is the fact that weaken the devil when we read the sura. It reveals their weaknesses and our honors that Allah Almighty has appointed as the khalifah in the world. By reciting surah al-Baqarah the atmosphere of the house will be more calm and will be shunned by the devil's disorder. Do not go into the new house as we bring in all new things that conflict with religion such as practicing superstitions and rituals such as calling the shaman and the paranormal to avoid the home of Satan's disorder or the unseen things. All this is definitely a shirk and invites God's wrath! When at home is a new home or a long-lived home we should never do things that can invite the devil to enter and live in it as bringing in illegal and immoral things, storing idols and so on. Shall we dwell in the house with the devil? Know that Satan will never stop trying to enter the house of the believers in order to mislead him.
