In this release, we’ve made tide graphs more precise, so you’re now able to see tide predictions at five-minute intervals. You can also set a home location in the Explore map, allowing you to quickly see the spots are closest to you.
Our latest release brings you offline mode, allowing you to view data that loaded the last time you opened the app, even when you don’t have an internet connection. This update includes other performance improvements that will reduce the time it takes to load spot pages.
The newest release from Surfline Labs, Wave Consistency, predicts how regular set waves will be at a particular spot, so you can determine just how long it’ll take to get a couple of fun ones. Find it on spot pages underneath the forecast, alongside our other Surfline Labs features.

Our latest update features a few minor fixes:
- Fixed a bug that was causing the app to crash for a small group of users
- Made small UI improvements for the spot details screen
We're changing the free experience in this version. If you do not have full Premium access, you can now:
- View hundreds of ad-supported cams for free, as much as you want every week. Some of our cams will only be available to Premium members.
- See the first two days of our surf height, swell, wind, tide, and weather forecasts.
Premium members continue to get the best of everything we offer.
The reimagined reports and forecast experience is here. Check conditions, plan ahead:
- Reorganized spot pages. Use the Live tab for current conditions and reports, the Forecast tab for daily/weekly outlooks, and the Regional Analysis tab for well, that.
- Condition ratings for every hour with a 7-point scale and new colors.
- Toggle between camera angles and switch spots.
- Slide your finger to see how conditions will change with synched graph scrubbing.
