Undoubtedly, the most important pillar of the paradigm shift necessary for Turkey to develop its competence and have a say in technological fields is to increase the support of the society to the national technology development processes and to contribute to the qualified human resources trained in the relevant fields. In line with these goals, the belief of each individual of the society in the capabilities, power and future of our country with the same ideal and enthusiasm forms the basis of the "National Technology Move". One of the prerequisites for achieving this goal is to have a say in the fields of aviation and space, which are accepted as the locomotive of high technology projects in the world.

In line with these purposes, the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, the first of which was held in 2018 and will be held for the 5th time this year in the Black Sea region of Samsun, between August 30 and September 4, 2022, is the place where the ministries, presidencies, public and private organizations that play a critical role in the national technology ecosystem of our country. It is organized with 101 institutions, including sector organizations, academic institutions and media companies.

It is aimed to increase the interest of all segments of the society in the National Technology Move with the fair activity areas, flight shows, seminars and activities held within the scope of TEKNOFEST. Along with these activities, it is aimed to contribute to the qualified human resources of our country with 40 different technology competitions this year. In competitions where young people, graduates and professionals from all levels of education, from primary school to university and above, can participate, more than 15 million TL material support will be provided to the teams that pass the pre-selection, transportation-accommodation support will be provided to the finalist teams, and more than 6 million TL cash prize will be provided to the winning teams. will be given.

In addition, 10 technology competitions organized within the scope of “TEKNOFEST Aerocosmic and Texnologiya Festival”, which will be held in Azerbaijan for the first time outside of Turkey this year, will be held in Baku Crystall Hall and its surrounding coastal boulevard on May 26 - 29, 2022, together with various shows and events with Take Off Baku.
