Preconditioning will also turn on your seat heaters and defrosters automatically in cold weather for your comfort and convenience. Cold weather upgrades, such as the heated steering wheel and wiper blades, will also be activated. When you start your next drive, your climate settings will automatically revert to your previous settings. NOTE: Requires vehicle software version 2018.4 or above.
Tesla solar customers without Powerwall can now monitor solar production and home energy use from the mobile app.In addition to today, yesterday, weekly, and monthly energy graphs, you can also select a yearly view. This feature is available for systems that have been operating for at least 2 months.This release also contains minor fixes and improvements.
The 30-minute time limit on preconditioning has been removed so your car will be ready when you arrive – even if it takes you a little longer than you expected. Preconditioning will continue running until you start driving, or your battery reaches 20%. Note: Requires vehicle software version 2017.46 or above.
