The Chosun Ilbo, a comprehensive media group that has led the new media market such as the world's first 'smart news paper' and the first 'LTE exclusive news app' in Korea, has once again evolved the news app. The news app 'Chosunilbo H' for Android Tablet PC was renamed 'Chosunilbo for Tablet'.
'Chosun Ilbo for Tablet' has changed design and UI. When you turn on the first screen, you can see 'Korea of today' at a glance. You can go to sections such as News, Economy, Opinion, Sports, Entertainment, Life, etc. to see more rich articles. You can easily move to the desired detail section (Politics, Weekly Biz, Movies, etc.) by pressing the section name once more or pressing the menu button.
You can also share news with your family, friends and colleagues by uploading your news on Twitter, Facebook, KakaoTalk, and other social networks. Interested articles can be scrapped on SNS or actively discussed with friends. Real-time weather, photo viewing, video, and inforgraphics are also available at the 'Chosun Ilbo for Tablet'.
'Ground view' has also improved greatly. Now read the newspaper on a clearer, bigger screen on your Android tablet. Supports both landscape and portrait mode, and you can read newspapers comfortably as you read paper newspapers.
Ground view service will switch to paid. However, readers subscribing to newspapers will be able to use it free of charge as soon as the "reader verification" is completed. The revised floor view can be viewed free of charge on both sides, regardless of whether you are a reader or a non-reader. Users who have already been authenticated as readers will be able to access the full page view right after signing in. If you are not certified as an individual, you can use the ground view right after you have passed the reader certification process (applying for a member who is a member of the Korean ship members) to enter the delivery address and so on. The reader certification process is available not only in mobile apps but also on PCs, and can be done on the 'Newspaper Reader' page at the top left of Membership Members (members.chosun.com) or MyPage.
