Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf was born on April 15, 1952 in Andijan region.
He studied at the "Mir Arab" madrasa in Bukhara, then at the Imam Bukhari Institute of Islam in Tashkent.
As soon as he graduated from the university, he worked in the magazine "Muslims of the Soviet East".
The religious office of the Muslims of Central Asia and Kazakhstan, Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf, sent him to study abroad, that is, to study at the Faculty of Islamic Da'wa in Tripoli, Libyan Arab Republic. Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf graduated from this faculty with honors in 1980 and returned to the country.
Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf worked in the department of foreign relations of the religious office of the Muslims of Central Asia and Kazakhstan, and at one time taught at the High School. Then he worked as a deputy director, and then as a director in this institution.
Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf was appointed Mufti of the Religious Office of the Muslims of Central Asia and Kazakhstan at the General Congress of the Religious Office held in 1989. In addition, he became the first mufti of the independent Republic of Uzbekistan.
